Hosted by the Times Square Alliance, this special live pop-up experience and one-time-only performance took place in Times Square to commemorate Broadway’s “lost year."
The theater community reunited in Times Square exactly one year to the day since Broadway shutdown. The event shined a spotlight on the arts workers who suffered during the theatre’s darkest hours and celebrated the sense of community and diversity within the arts environment that mirrors that of New York City itself.
In further support of the artists and workers of Broadway, all artists and artisans performing and contributing to the event were paid.
The event was sponsored by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, NYCNEXT, Kaleidoscope Entertainment & The Times Square Alliance and was produced by Holly-Anne Devlin and Blake Ross.
