SoHarlem (not to be confused with SoHa) was founded by women in 2010 as a community-based social enterprise to connect people living in poverty to cultural industry opportunities that help them achieve economic self-sufficiency and their full potential.
This group is being created as a safe place for members of the Food & Beverage industry. As we know our industry is one of the hardest hit by COVID19. We are providing this space to help make finding a job more attainable.
The Queens Women’s Business Center (QWBC) empowers women to fully participate in the economy by further developing their capacity to start and grow successful businesses, and by connecting them to other women business owners and business development resources in our community.
The mission is to support the Greater Harlem community by providing services for our senior citizens, local small businesses, food banks, the homeless, arts & cultural not-for-profits, and families in need.
Organization dedicated to transforming East 125th Street into a thriving corridor by delivering programs that put advocacy into action through collaborations with businesses, residents and neighborhood organizations across East Harlem.
During the COVID pandemic, QEDC will provide a wide array of resources, promote small businesses, help food makers in the Entrepreneur Space prepare meals for Front Line caregivers, and offer virtual counseling and webinars to guide business owners as they reopen.
